Been on a real "classic" pedals kick lately, hence the building of a fuzz face. I got a Big Muff earlier this year, now this legendary box of rock. One step closer to having all the pedals I had when I was 18! 🤣 #Pedalboard

Picked up some AC128 germanium off of eBay to start bringing the Fuzz Face to completion. Been playing with the bread board quite a bit with some silicon 2N3904 transistors and really digging it. Adding some diodes into the circuit and seeing how the diode clipping effected the Fuzz Face Circuit (not a lot to my ears) and generally messing with bias and trying new things. Now I've got some germanium I think I'm going to go "stock" for this build of a classic Fuzz Face in the mic-stand base. Still working on colours. I'm sure this has been cheaper than buying an original Dallas-Arbiter, not sure if it's been cheaper than a Dunlop reissue 😬! It has been a lot of fun and enlightening to learn so much about the Fuzz face circuit though! I don't think I'll be done tinkering when this unit is put together!! Now, what reverb would this sound best with...? Maybe a new @keeleyelectronics ZOMA? Released today?? Go check it out!
