My band, My Great Affliction, recently released their first new music in 5 years, since Poison Remedy – My Great Affliction.

Fail was released on Monolithic Records on 27th July 2024 across all digital platforms.

Black Country based heavy rockers My Great Affliction are set to release their first new track in 5 years, Fail debuts on all major digital platforms on 27th July 2024, promising to resonate with fans of rock music around the globe!

Fail deals with the aspects of making poor decisions, mistakes and facing the consequences of those choices, whilst holding on to hope that one can succeed throughout the failures, reminding us all that so long as we learn from our failures, we can eventually come through on top. Embrace your failures, learn from them, work towards your goals and don’t let failure pull you to a standstill.

Fail was produced “in-house” and has been mixed and mastered by Grammy and Mercury Nominated producer Romesh Dodangoda who has worked with some of the biggest names in rock and metal (Motorhead, Funeral For A Friend, Bullet For My Valentine and more).

My Great Affliction have been and continue to be a mainstay name on the Birmingham and Black Country rock music scene, since their inception in 2006. Despite multiple personnel changes in the early years of the bands history, the current line-up of Ste Gough, Craig Horobin and Daz Wright has been going strong for the past 12 years. Following a downturn in activity due to covid and family life thereafter, the band have a renewed energy and desire to bring new music to market.
